Dr. Immerman, who has specialized in providing low vision services since 1982, sees patients in our Wakefield office. He is a graduate of Boston University (B.A.), Illinois College of Optometry (B.S. and O.D.) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. The disease processes that lead to needing these types of services include: macular degeneration, Stargardt’s disease, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, retinopathy of prematurity, high myopia and retinitis pigmentosa.
